Master Planning - Retirement, Tourism & Mining Accomodation Facilities

Q3 Architecture has significant experience in the master planning of remote area accommodation facilities for the retirement, tourism and mining industries. Initial involvement in the redevelopment of caravan parks has resulted in ongoing research into various forms of prefabricated housing and alternatives to traditional housing development models.

Work now includes:

  • Caravan Park redevelopment
  • Development of “Lifestyle Villages” for Retirement Accommodation
  • Development of accommodation and community facilities for Mine Sites
  • Tourism Development

Master planning typically includes preliminary site analysis, calculation of site yield, and the development of site layouts showing accommodation, community facilities, vehicular and pedestrian circulation systems, recreation areas and service infrastructure.

Ongoing work includes the detailed design of accommodation and community facilities, co-ordination of consultants for facility engineering design, the formulation of draft facility management guidelines and negotiation of statutory authority approvals.

Q3 Architecture possesses the knowledge and experience to work either as part of an integrated consultant team or alternatively to lead the project providing full project management from preliminary planning through detailed design and construction to completion.
