Solution:Designed to allow for staged development,
the proposal included 9 commercial/residential
units and 5 houses on adjacent lots designed
to provide for home/office use.
To maximize the sustainability of the development
consideration was given to:
- Site planning,
- Building orientation,
- Material selection,
- Access to public transport,
- The management of construction waste, and
- The design of service infrastructure to reduce energy use and maximize water re-use.
