Improve functionality
Create a new aesthetic.
An analysis of the existing facility was undertaken to resolve existing deficiencies in public access to the property and to the winery buildings. The demolition of an unused building allowed modification of the entrance road and parking to improve the approach to the facility.
The existing building uses were altered to separate the cellar door and the restaurant functions. This significantly improved public understanding of the facilities on offer on arrival.
The interior spaces - including the cellar door, commercial kitchen, restaurant, function rooms and administration offices were refurbished. The refurbishment improved the functionality of the internal spaces, enhanced acoustic performance and provided a significant upgrade of the internal fitout. Interior work included new joinery, lighting, decoration and furniture selection.
The construction approach allowed winery operations to continue and the tight timeline minimized disruption to the use of the Cellar Door, Restaurant and Function Rooms.
